My book Deadly Pleasures, a mystery/thriller, was released in November and is available at Amazon.com, B&N.com, and Kindle. Reviews by Kirkus, Blueink, and Clarion were extremely flattering. You can see partial reviews on my personal blog: http://maryfirmin.blogspot.com or my website at maryfirmin.com. I have rejoined Mystery Writers of America recently but was a long time member in Los Angeles before moving to Rancho Mirage in the Desert.
Deadly Pleasures is the story of Megan Riley and her three closest friends who hire hunky stripper Michael Harrington to be their time-share Boy Toy, in order to get back at their cheating men. They are unaware he is a suspect in a series of gruesome Bondage Murders. The wealthy yachting community in Marina del Rey creates the backdrop in this fast paced murder mystery that includes Venice beach and on to Catalina Island. As a former member of a Southern California yacht club and the writer of a society column Mary captures the quirky personalities in this novel that Blueink describes as "Sex in the City meets James Patterwon."
