I write "Geezer-lit" Mysteries featuring octogenarian Paul Jacobson who suffers from short-term memory loss. Even though Paul can't remember the day before, he becomes an amateur sleuth and even has a romance with a young chick in her seventies.
Mike Befeler turned his attention to fiction writing after a career in high technology marketing. His first novel, Retirement Homes Are Murder, was published in January, 2007. The second novel in the Paul Jacobson Geezer-lit Mystery series, Living With Your Kids Is Murder, was released in April 2009, and was a finalist for the Lefty Award for the best humorous mystery of 2009. It was followed by Senior Moments Are Murder in August, 2011. He holds a Master’s degree from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford. He lives in Boulder, Colorado, with his wife, Wendy.
