Margery Flax
Sharon Potts is a former business executive, entrepreneur, CPA, and soccer mom. She grew up in New York City and didn’t learn to ride a bike or drive a car until she was twenty-one, though she did master the art of reading a newspaper on a jolting subway car. She attended college at CUNY’s Queens College and received a master’s degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business. A CPA, Sharon worked in public accounting before migrating to Florida, where she was a managing director of an international staffing company and president of an executive search/accounting recruitment firm. Sharon writes thrillers about ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. She is president of the Florida chapter of the Mystery Writers of America and also served as the chapter vice president, treasurer and as co-chair of SleuthFest, its annual writers’ conference. She lives in Miami Beach.
