Primarily a dramatist, I am the author of "Baker Street" the musical Sherlock Holmes and 32 episodes of the television series "Hawaii 5-0." Most recently my one-act play "The Other Side" reenacting the clash between Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle on the subject of spiritualism premiered at the NY Bar Association under the auspices of the Baker Street Irregulars. Additional stage plays: "Mata Hari," "Haven," "Eleanor," "The Apple Tree" (co-authored with Bock & Harnick,)
"The Mystery of Anna O" and "Reflections of a Murder" (co-authored with Lucy Freeman.) I have received a Tony Nomination for "Baker Street," the Robert E. Sherwood Award for television writing, and 2 Edgar Allan Poe Special Awards from the Mystery Writers of America. Currently I am an Adjunct Professor in the Radio and Television Department of Brooklyn College.
