Christine DeSmet's books and short story collections in mystery and suspense include Spirit Lake (Mundania Press), and several collections of humorous romantic mystery short stories published by Whiskey Creek Press and first appearing in other collections written by the authors in Jewels of the Quill. Christine is also a professional screenwriter and teaches fiction writing at University of Wisconsin-Madison Continuing Studies where she heads a national writers' retreat and other programs.
