Devouring mysteries has been my delight since I discovered Nancy Drew almost 60 years ago. Eventually, I made the jump from reading mysteries to writing them. Now I get to decide whodunit.
After many years rearing children, supporting community activities, and teaching English, I finally took up writing. Short stories and essays came first, followed by a juvenile/YA novel and a contemporary romance novel. Ultimately, I succumbed to the lure of my favorite genre: mystery. Drawing loosely on eleven years of experience at an independent bookstore, I plunged my book-loving heroine, Jane Serrano, into a world of trouble in Murder of the Month. I'm happy to report that Jane encountered even more danger in the sequel, No Rest for the Wicked. Meanwhile, I enjoy life in idyllic Bend, Oregon, with my husband and dog.
