Edgar Nominee for Best First Novel by American Author: Adam Sternbergh – will read from Shovel Read,  a future-noir crime thriller about a garbageman-turned-hitman that’s set in a near-future dystopian New York City. Sternberg is a contributing editor at New York magazine and Vulture, and the former culture editor of The New York Times Magazine

Edgar Nominee for Best Fact Crime book: Kevin Cook will read from Kitty Genovese: The Murder, the Bystanders, the Crime that Changed America, the book that disproves the long-accepted notion that Ms. Genovese was murdered in 1964 in full view of her neighbors.  The book redefines one of the most notorious, misunderstood crimes in American history.

Scott Adlerberg will read from his genre-blending noir/fantasy novella Jungle Horses, and Emily Stein, from Book Culture, will read from her first mystery novel, currently in the works.
